Weekly Update 8/ 18

Althought it was just two days... WE DID IT! I am so excited for this year and this group of students, I can already tell  we have lots of eager learners!

Monday- C day- P.E and Library
Tuesday- D day- Technology
Wednesday- A day- Art, Curriculum Night 6-6:30
Thursday- B day- Music
Friday- C day- P.E.

This week we will be going over our class rules, transitions in the classroom, builing our classroom environment as well as starting math and writing. 

Last week, one of our getting to know each other activites was where we had to find a friend who likes dogs, football, baseball, to swim, etc. They had a blast! 

First Day of 1st Grade!!

We did it!!! We had SUCH a wonderful day! I am so excited for this school year with this great class!

Reminders:
Please be sure to bring back the green Long folder every day. 
Today, there were a few papers that came home today that need to be returned back as soon as possible.
1. White sheet with Crestwood persmission slip on the top and handbook agreement sheet on the bottom
2. White sheet that has the early release transportaiton sheet. 
3. Half of an index card with your child's lunch pin number. Please practice memorizing this number with your child. 

4. We will be having snack time everyday so be sure to pack a snack! No nuts please!

Arrival- School starts at 8:45 am- students will be released to the classrooms at 8:30 am
Dismissal- Buses will go first at 3:20, external parent pick-up at 3:25, internal parent pick-up at 3:35. 
Please let me know if your transportation changes from the sheet you checked last night.
